Her strength is inspiring... especially in her core!
Right now, I'm trying very hard to work on mine and I find myself compromising this area quite often. My focus drifts away and suddenly I'll come back to my abdominal region and try hard to remember how important it is to build strength there. Keeping a strong core is symbiotic with the lower back. If you're experiencing weakness in the lumbar spine and want to tighten your core, try working on your Cobra Pose!
In Cobra Pose, Bhujangasana, be mindful of:
- Keeping your core engaged
- Move shoulder blades back and down the spine
- Neck neutrally positioned- look forward
- Soften your glutes
- Press down through the tops of your feet
- Don't worry about coming up high
- BREATHE and repeat
